ERB Preloved is a small resale business run by Etie and Rhys in Perth, Western Australia. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. The short version: we only collect what we need, we use it to look after you, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and what you bought. Payments go through Shopify's secure checkout, and we never see or store your full card details.
- When you use our contact or Sell or donate form: your name, email, phone number, suburb, postcode, how you'd like us to contact you, the details of your item and any photos you send us.
- When you consign with us: the bank details we need to pay you, and a record of your items, sales and payouts.
- When you join our newsletter: your email address.
- When you browse: basic information collected through cookies (see below).
Where it's stored
Information from this website is stored with our hosting providers: Shopify (our store, orders, contact messages and newsletter list) and Supabase (Sell or donate requests and the photos that come with them). These providers keep data on secure servers that may be located outside Australia.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your orders, and arrange pickup or delivery.
- To reply to your messages and Sell or donate requests — to look at your item, arrange a collection or set up consignment.
- To pay consignors and keep proper records.
- To send our weekly new-arrivals email, if you've signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
What we don't do
We never sell or rent out your information. We share it only with the services that help us run the store — Shopify, Supabase, payment providers and whoever is delivering your parcel — and only as much as they need. We may also disclose it if the law requires us to.
Cookies
Our store runs on Shopify, which uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, keep checkout secure and show us basic statistics about visits to the site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and checkout may not work properly without them.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
We keep your information only as long as we need it — for example, to complete an order or consignment and for our tax records. Details and photos from Sell or donate requests are deleted once we no longer need them.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just send us a message from the email address you gave us, so we can find your details. We'll reply within 30 days (usually much sooner) and confirm when it's done. If we need to keep something, like a past order for tax reasons, we'll tell you.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). If this policy changes, we'll update it here.
